OmniAir to Develop VII Tolling and Payment Concept of Operations

OmniAir is pleased to announce the beginning of a new effort: the development of a Toll and Payments Concept of Operations (ConOps) for the USDOT Vehicle-Infrastructure Integration (VII) Program. Through the VII Program, USDOT is developing standards-based, interoperable 5.9GHz DSRC (dedicated short-range communications—radio) systems for vehicle and roadside deployment in the 2012 time frame.
