The OmniAir Consortium continues to attract the best in the transportation technology community to lead the strategic direction of the Consortium and also to advance the consortium’s pursuit of the national deployment of certified-interoperable advanced transportation technologies.   This is evidenced by the most recent slate of leaders who will serve as OmniAir’s newest Directors and Executive Committee member.  Those voted in at the December 1st Annual Board of Directors Meeting in NYC include:

  • Bruce Cummings, Chief Executive Officer, Gila Corporation, founded in 1991 to offers outsourced payment processing and call center services to governmental entities, financial and education institutions nationwide.  Bruce brings over 25 years of experience in operational management for both public and private companies.
  • Jon Ramirez, Vice President, Business Development & New Project Implementation, Federal Signal Technology Group.   With over 18 years in the ITS industry in both operations and strategic development, Jon has served as project director for numerous, complex highway projects including Capital Beltway I-495 in Washington, DC;  MnPASS HOT Lane Conversion of the 35W HOV lanes; and OCTA’s 91 Express Lanes.
  • PJ Wilkins, Executive Director, E-ZPass Group.  E-ZPass is the world’s largest ETC system comprising 24 toll agencies in 14 US states with more than 20 million transponders.  PJ has over 25 years of service in the highway transportation sector, including Toll Operations Administrator for Delaware DOT where he was instrumental in deploying ETC and managing the state’s award-winning customer service center.
  • Doug Kavner, Technical Director, Intelligent Vehicle Programs, Raytheon, was elected to the Executive Committee as Treasurer.   Doug has been an active member of OmniAir since 2005; has Co- Chaired the Electronic Payment Services Committee, and is currently a Director.  Doug brings 20 years of ITS system design and implementation experience, and program management and certification/testing expertise to OmniAir’s key standards development and certification programs.
