OmniAir Members

OmniAir Members are organizations and individuals from both the public and private sector who are intricately involved in the transportation telematics field and who understand the potential of next generation DSRC systems. Members represent hardware and software vendors, public sector transportation professionals, transportation consultants, engineers and others who support open, interoperable, reliable and cost-effective DSRC systems. Members participate directly in the strategic development of the Consortium, its advisory committees and certification services. Only Executive Level members may serve on the Board of Directors, however all members are eligible to contribute to and review specifications and other deliverables.

Executive Members of OmniAir are highly engaged in the strategic development of the Consortium. They come from leaders in their respective fields and demonstrate their commitment to OmniAir’s mission with a higher financial and personal commitment to the Consortium. Executive Members are the only members eligible to serve on the Board and only Directors have the privilege of approving the Consortium’s final specification and program protocols for adoption nationally. Directors also can serve as Chair, Vice-Chair and Treasurer of OmniAir.

The Executive Member pays an annual membership fee of $7,500 per year. OmniAir Membership Application

Associate Members serve a key role at OmniAir. They are the technical foundation of its committees and play the important role of helping to shape and design the certification program and other OmniAir services and ensure that all products reflect a true balance of industry perspectives and experiences. Because of their expertise, they assist directly in achieving the objectives of the Consortium and are eligible to chair any Advisory Committees formed by the Board. Associate Members are the developers of the OmniAir Certification Program and Application Specifications that they will use to deploy systems today and in the future.

Associate Member annual dues are $3,750.

Affiliate Members are consultants, researchers, and other active individuals who are not associated with a larger company or organization, but nevertheless are experts with an active interest in the OmniAir program and in seeing it realized. They attend meetings and enjoy the right to contribute to and review specifications and other deliverables.

Affiliate Members pay an annual membership fee of $1,500.
