Colorado’s E-470 Public Highway Authority is a toll highway that runs along the eastern perimeter of the Denver metropolitan area. With gross revenues of close to $70 million and operating revenues of $24 million, the 47-mile beltway extends from State Highway C-470 at I-25 in Douglas County south of Denver, runs east and then north through Aurora, passes along the western edge of the Denver International Airport, and back towards the west, terminating at I-25 on the north end of the metropolitan area just south of 160th Avenue. The E-ZPass® Interagency Group (IAG) is the collective association of the 21 Agencies in 11 States that accept (or have agreed to accept) E-ZPass® as a method of payment for tolls on highways, bridges and tunnels. The IAG: coordinates policy and protocols for the agencies; promotes use by additional agencies; encourages the use of the systems for non-toll activities as approved by the member agencies; monitors the technology in use; looks for ways to improve the systems and addresses various needs of member agencies.
The IAG has three main goals:

  1. E-ZPass® is committed to a regionally compatible system.
  2. E-ZPass® provides participating customers with seamless travel in a highly mobile region.
  3. E-ZPass® promotes common operating protocols and policies to advance customer service.

The North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) is a revenue-based political subdivision of the State of Texas. The NTTA is empowered to acquire, construct, maintain, repair and operate turnpike projects; to raise capital for construction projects through the issuance of Tax-exempt Revenue Bonds; and to collect tolls to operate, maintain and pay debt service on those projects. Traffic Technologies, Inc., a New York based company since 1996, is an engineering firm that provides technical consulting services in the areas of electronic toll collection (ETC), conventional toll collection systems and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) to toll facility agencies and operators throughout the United States.
