The role of the OmniAir Board of Directors is to ensure the success of the Consortium. OmniAir’s directors do this by establishing OmniAir’s strategy, articulating goals, and empowering its staff to achieve them. Like all members, the OmniAir board acts as advocates for the Consortium.
From a management perspective, the Directors of OmniAir also:
- Establish and amend the Bylaws;
- Approve major deliverables;
- Make key decisions regarding intellectual property, service contracts, and any assets owned by the Consortium;
- Elect and/or appoint officers;
- Establish Task Forces and Special Committees.
- Serve as advisors to the staff.
